Events

The society runs a number of events throughout the year. We have just moved to a new system for Conferences and the society will have a full Conference every 2 years starting from 2013 and in the interim year hold several training events and seminars across the UK and Ireland.

Those events are open for anyone and attend who has an interest in our work.

The programmes will cover all aspects of our work and provide an opportunity for hands on experience. It provides the ability for delegates to shout best practices and hear the latest information on techniques and educational developments in lifesaving and lifeguarding.

The society has an Annual General Meeting which is open to all members of the society. The President on behalf of the Management Board presents a report on activity for the year and explains the financial performance of the Society and its trading subsidiary companies.

The AGM normally forms part of a Society Event- Conference of Honours Ceremony.
