What is Lifeguarding?

Working as a lifeguard in a swimming pool is used by many to help fund their student years and time in education or at university, however working as a Pool Lifeguard acts for some by not only providing an excellent part time working opportunity but a great stepping stone into the leisure industry.

Completing the RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is not only rewarding but it also provides individuals with key life skills – first aid, CPR and rescue techniques to name a few but working as a lifeguard and holding the qualification also looks good on anyone's CV for whatever job they may be applying for in their future by demonstrating they are a team player and can work in a position of responsibility.
